Final Project: Emulating a Photographers Style
I did my final project on Kathleen Clemons, who is most known for her flower photography. Here is my "Photography Research Information" about her.
My Photo'sAbout this image: I took this photo in front of my house in the garden area. I like these types of flowers because they seem to draw your eyes into the center of it, trying to see the little pollen dust. I also like it because you can see the different type of textures on the flower petals, and how almost ever petal is the same.
About this image: This is probably my favorite photo out of the three because I love the different pieces of the flower. How there's little seeds hiding in the flower, the pollen area sticking up from the flower. And how the flower petals give off this 'wavy' affect to your eyes. The flower color shade is also nice and easy on the eyes.
About this image: This flower was a bit tricky to get a photo of, because when I first took a photo. I thought there was a spider in the middle of the flower in the hole, but thankfully there wasn't. I find this photo of the flower cool because it gives off this fuzzy blur, that the other photos don't. So it makes it different, which is good. I love how you can see the cracks of each petal in this photo, it's like you're being drawn into a tunnel.

Kathleen Clemons Photo'sComparing and contrasting; One difference between this photo and mine, is 1) they're different types of flowers, 2) kathleen used a white background, while I used a black one, and 3) we both took our photo's at different sizes. I'm is more close up than hers.
Comparing and contrasting; We both used purple flowers, we both where able to get a good close up of the photo, capturing the different texture of the petals. And seeing deep inside of the flower. The differences we had are; 1) we used a different type of flower, 2) she didn't have any background while I did, and 3) because of the different camera we were using (her using a canon, while I used my Iphone) we can see which photo is higher quality.
Comparing and contrasting; (I don't know why Kathleen Clemons photo is so blurry). The only thing these two photo's have in common is that their both blurry. The differences between the two of them is 1) they're both different types of flowers, 2) they're different shades of colors, and 3) my photo is a close up shot, while Kathleen photo is a far away close up shot.
