Still Life
MemoriesI titled this "Memories," because that camera that's in the photo is by very first film camera I got. The photo's that are on the ground, are images that I've taken with that camera. I spread them out, so I could show you the memories I had when looking through the photos. The hard part about editing this photo was checking to make sure everything was okay. The other hardest thing for me was trying to keep blanket as clean as i could make it. Editing the little marks and fuzz balls on there, to make them go away.
Rotten Beauty.I picked the title "Rotten Beauty," because I want to show how such a beautiful flower could turn so rotten with in such a short amount of time in the sun during a hot day. The look of a flower wilting, losing it's once beautiful glory. I decided to change the color of the red flower by using the hue/saturation effect on it, changing the red flower into a purple/plum looking color, while the green and the pink become a bit more soft to the eyes. The hardest thing for me when it came to editing this photo was trying to decide if I wanted the plum looking flower, or the red looking flower. Because both of the colors just seem so natural for the feeling that the pink gives off in the picture. I decided with the plum color edit because I thought it would be cool to see the photo with out the red color fading away from the viewers eye.

Time FliesI titled this "Time Flies," because of the photo's in the picture below. I can remember going outside during the winter to get these shots, being in the cold for a medium amount of time wasn't fun. The hardest part about editing this photo was trying to make sure the most of the wrinkles in the blanket were gone. The other hard part for me is when I was taking the photo. I was trying my best not to get my shadow in the photo, because I was kneeling right about the set up. I was able to manage getting a good one with out my shadow appearing in the photo (which is this photo).
Nature's Youth.I named the photo "Nature's Youth," because of the way I took this photo I did it by picking some flowers from the cemetery. I left them in the sun to dry up it's fresh beauty, revealing the wonderful marks it left behind on it's petals. I think the most challenging part of editing this photo, was probably trying to make sure that I was able to bring the color of the flowers back to life. It was hard for the small red flower because of how dark the flower itself was before editing the photos. But I was able to use the editing tools on photoshop to change it, and make the red flowers be more in the spotlights besides the pink flowers and the leafs. Showing that there's still some color left in them, even after drying up in the sun and almost wilting away.

Unity of ColorI titled this "Unity of Color," because of how I think it forms as one group. The colored pencils I took a picture of is from a 12 set mini colored pencils. The pencils are so small that they can fit into the palm of my hands. I went with color pencils because I believe that they can show us that we can all get along with each other. Even though they're different colors, they still have the same purpose to do. And they are all the same height, so it means that you can all get along no matter what you look like or who you are. I think the hardest part of this photo was trying to get the highlights on the yellow pencil to shine out more. Because it was lacking the same amount of highlight compare to the other pencils. Not to say, seeing the yellow pencil with out a highlight/light reflection on it was starting to annoy me.

Color Spin.I titled this "Color Spin," because it reminds me of the rainbow wheel you get when your computer takes forever to load. I wanted to set up the color pencils this way because I thought it would be able to show that we can all spin around with each other and not care who next to us, or which color is which. And it shows that no matter what, we'll keep on spinning together as a group or one. One annoying thing that came to mind when it came to editing this photo was trying to make sure that all of the pencils had some type of sharpen end on it. It was also hard to make sure that the white pencil would be able to see because of how bright the background for the photo is. But I was able to edit it just enough so that you can still see the white pencil in the wheel of colors. It was also hard to set up the color pencils in a circle like that, because of how many there were.
